Produced in only a few thousand examples, it is enjoying a strong revival of interest – Rolex laid claim to its heritage in 2025 with the launch of the Land-Dweller.\nThe tritium of the “T SWISS MADE T” champagne sunburst dial on our example has taken on a superb beige patina, warm and even. Oysterquartz cases are very sensitive to polishing, which rounds off their chamfers; that is not the case here: the watch retains sharp edges, crisp chamfers and a well-defined fluted bezel. The integrated President bracelet with hidden clasp, particularly long and without bothersome stretch, shares the same crispness. Caliber 5055 has been checked and cleaned by our watchmakers, its battery replaced with a new one, and it runs perfectly. The watch comes with our Steel Warranty Card.\nThe Oysterquartz ref. 19018 is not everyone’s Day-Date: the same gold, the same President bracelet, but a design the trained eye recognises from afar and a movement Rolex has never reproduced since. In our view, one of the most interesting yellow gold Day-Date models to acquire today, as pleasant to wear as to collect.","brand":"Rolex","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54979447521603,"sku":"TZBB","price":19200.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0759\/1378\/9763\/files\/TZBB-Rolex-Day-Date-Oysterquartz-ref-19018-en-or-jaune-de-1979-Excellent-etat-Front-1.jpg?v=1793225924","url":"https:\/\/amplitudewatches.co\/en\/products\/1979-rolex-day-date-oysterquartz-ref-19018-in-yellow-gold-excellent-condition-tzbb","provider":"Amplitude","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
