Produced only until 2010, it remains the only green Submariner with an aluminium insert, in the classic 40 mm case. Our D-serial example features the dial variant known as the “Mark III” and the rare light green “Lime” insert known as the “B3”, which we find particularly attractive.\nGreen inserts are often faded or scratched, and cases rounded off; not so here. The insert has retained its even lime green, the dial and hands are perfect, and the case band is strong, with clearly delineated chamfers. The movement, caliber 3135, has been fully serviced by one of our experienced watchmakers and runs perfectly; its water resistance has been checked. The Oyster bracelet 93250 is complete. Finally, the watch comes with our Steel Warranty Card.\nThe first steel Submariner to depart from “100% black” and the last green Submariner before ceramic, the Kermit condenses the history of the Submariner into seven years and heralds what was to follow.
