Since its creation in 1945, the Datejust has embodied the pinnacle of functionality and style in the world of luxury watches. The demarcations between the satin/brushed matte and glossy/mirror polished surfaces are clear.
The crenellated steel bezel, characteristic of the reference 16030, is perfect and has well-defined facets.
The attractive and sought-after bright white dial, known as the "Porcelain" variant amongst collectors, is in excellent condition, and all the dots of luminescent material (tritium base) at the tips of the indexes are present and whole, and have developed, just like the tritium present on the hands, a light vanilla patina.
