We go to great lenghts in the care we give to our watches.

We're convinced that, while the watches we offer are more collectors' items than tools used to know the exact time, it is our responsibility to do our utmost to ensure that the watches in our catalog meet our highest standards of chronometry and functionality.

We are therefore proud to publish, as often as possible, information from a professional timegrapher, displaying a number of "health indicators" of the mechanical watches on our website.

Where many prestige watch dealers are content to sell their products "as is", we place the utmost importance on ensuring that our watches run smoothly.

To this end, Amplitude works closely with over 10 watchmakers and polishers, each a specialist in a specific field. This team enables us to inspect, overhaul and restore watches from almost every brand and era.

The vast majority of the watches available on our site are therefore dismantled piece by piece, their movements cleaned by hand and by ultra-modern machines, then overhauled, oiled with a wide range of lubricants, and reassembled. Time-worn parts are replaced, as are seals. After a service, we check that the watches work properly for several days.

Cases, bezels, metal bracelets and other aesthetic parts are also cleaned and, when we deem it relevant, polished to their original appearance by a craftsman who is a graduate of WOSTEP, the world-renowned Centre Suisse de Formation et de Perfectionnement Horloger in Neuchâtel (Switzerland).

Some watches, particularly the most modern, do not require in-depth mechanical intervention on our part.

Despite our best care, malfunctions may occasionally occur on pre-owned watches. The satisfaction and trust of our customers are of the utmost importance to us.

That's why Amplitude offers a 24-month mechanical warranty and a lifetime guarantee of authenticity for all its watches.

A Warranty Card is given to each customer when the watch is delivered.

This warranty covers mechanical defects (related to the movement of the watch).

The watch warranty does not cover: problems resulting from falls, shocks and other accidents, water or moisture ingress, the presence of dust, improper handling of any kind, lack of care, the mere passage of time and its resulting normal wear and tear. Also excluded from our warranty are problems caused by wear of or damage to the battery, bracelet, case and glass/crystal, pushers and crown.

Our warranty is void in the event of manipulation or modification of the watch or its movement by an unauthorized third party.

The warranty is non-transferable and will only be honored to the benefit of Amplitude's direct customer.

Finally, when a watch sold by Amplitude is covered by the warranty of its manufacturer or one of its authorized retailers, this warranty replaces our own.
