The Cartier Tank Must model, launched in 1977, is one of the flagship pieces of this collection. It takes up the timeless design of the iconic watch known as the “Tank Louis”, created in 1922, adding colourful variations and materials such as vermeil.
Over the years, the Tank Must has appeared in many versions, incorporating mechanical and quartz movements and innovations such as the solar-powered dial. The Tank Must Grande Taille we are offering is part of this tradition, combining the classic elegance of Cartier with the extreme precision of a quartz movement.
Fitted with a beautiful cream dial with black painted Roman numeral hour markers in the purest tradition of the famous Parisian jeweller, in excellent aesthetic condition and recently cleaned and checked by a qualified watchmaker, accompanied by a new hand-stitched Amplitude° strap in black lizard leather and a new Cartier gilt metal pin buckle, this Tank Must de Cartier in yellow-gold-plated silver is an ideal watch to wear every day as well as for the most elegant occasions, for men and women alike.

This Cartier Tank Must, known as the “Grande Taille”, is preserved in excellent aesthetic condition, with a perfect ivory-cream dial and a perfectly preserved mineral glass, free of any hairline cracks or scratches.
The fluted winding crown is set with a blue cabochon in perfect condition.
The quartz movement has been cleaned and tested, runs perfectly, and its battery has been replaced with a new one.
The hand-stitched Amplitude° black lizard leather strap is new, as is the Cartier gilt metal pin buckle.
