1999 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref. 15200 – Black Dial & Cream Tritium

This superb steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, a reference 15200 produced in 1997-1998 (series U92xxxx) and initially sold on February 14, 1999 in Hong Kong features a smooth steel bezel, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, an extremely reliable and accurate automatic movement and a beautiful, clean black tritium “T SWISS MADE T” dial with stick indexes. The dots of luminescent material (tritium base) at the tips of the indexes and on the hands have developed a superb, warm and even cream patina.
In perfect aesthetic and mechanical condition, and entirely original down to the buckle code of the bracelet's clasp, this example concentrates Rolex's very DNA: efficient lines, purity and elegance, durability, mechanical reliability, and exemplary wearing comfort. A "must-have", perfect for everyday wear in casual or formal attire.

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date is preserved in perfect overall condition.
The stainless steel case retains its original proportions and finishes, alternating between brushed/satin surfaces and mirror-polished sides.
The black dial is flawless, and the luminescent dots at the tips of the indexes and on the hands have developed a superb, warm, even cream patina.
The self-winding mechanical movement, Rolex caliber 3135 certified as a “superlative chronometer,” was fully serviced before the watch was put on sale by one of our experienced watchmakers and operates to the strictest tolerances.
The winding crown is in perfect condition.
The original steel Oyster bracelet, reference 78350/19, end links 557 B, clasp code U11 (production in November 1998) is very well preserved, with no stretch. The stamped Rolex crown on the buckle is clean.
