Designed to make Cartier's creations more accessible, as the famous house was reinventing itself following the unification of its 3 branches in New York, London and Paris, this line offers emblematic designs of the brand with a modern touch and more affordable materials.
The Cartier Tank Must model, launched in 1977, is one of the flagship pieces of this collection. It takes the timeless design of the famous Tank watch known as the "Louis", created in 1917, adding colorful variations and materials such as vermeil.
Over the years, the Tank Must was produced in multiple versions, incorporating mechanical and quartz movements and innovative features such as a sunlight-powered variant.
The Tank Must Grande Taille that we have on offer is part of this tradition, combining the classic elegance of Cartier with the extreme precision of a quartz movement.
Equipped with a superb and unusual deep black dial with gilt markers alternating the characteristic Cartier Roman numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock and lozenges/diamonds, in excellent aesthetic condition and recently cleaned and inspected by a qualified watchmaker, accompanied by a Cartier Made in France black crocodile leather strap and a Cartier folding clasp in gilded metal, this Tank Must de Cartier in vermeil (20 micron yellow gold plated silver) is an ideal watch for everyday wear as well as for the most elegant occasions.

This Cartier Tank Must Quartz Lady is preserved in excellent overall condition.
The dial has no defects.
The mineral crystal was replaced anew.
The quartz movement has undergone a complete service, during which its battery was replaced with a new one.
The pearl/fluted crown set with a blue cabochon is in excellent condition.
The case retains beautiful proportions and suffers no loss of gold plating.
The case back is in excellent condition, its engravings are deep and crisp.
The Cartier Made in France black crocodile leather strap has been worn but remains in good condition.
The Cartier gold-plated metal folding clasp is very well preserved, and opens and closes without difficulty.
