The hand-wound movement of the reference 6694 enables the Oysterdate Precision to boast a thin and elegant case without sacrificing the presence of the date.

The main specificity of our model is the presence of a silver dial on which are set golden indexes, adding a touch of opulence to an otherwise discreet and versatile watch. The hands are in keeping with this, also gold-colored. A plexiglass so-called "chimney" plexiglass crystal reinforces the vintage charm that emanates from this 1970 Rolex.

This Precision 6694 is equipped with a Rolex Oyster bracelet in steel, reference 78350/19, with 557 end links, that is more recent than the watch. Indeed, it was common from the 1980s onward to replace the "folded" bracelets of the 1960s and early 1970s with their successor, more robust, durable, and pleasant to wear on a daily basis. Very easy to remove – anyone can do it – this bracelet allows the owner of this watch to change looks easily and quickly, by wearing it for example on a leather, alligator, or even with a braided nylon NATO strap.

This watch is powered by a highly reliable and durable 17-jewel Rolex caliber 1225. Following a complete overhaul by one of our watchmakers specializing in vintage Rolex models, our example now boasts impeccable chronometric performance. During this service, the barrel spring and the plexiglass crystal were also replaced with new ones, for ideal durability and wearing comfort.

This Rolex Oysterdate Precision is preserved in excellent overall condition.
The stainless steel case retains its original proportions and finishes, with alternating clean brushed/satin surfaces and mirror-polished sides. The smooth bezel shows no dents. The engravings between the lugs (model number and serial number) are particularly well preserved and sharp.
The case back is in perfect condition, and has an engraving of the reference (6694) inside.
The very beautiful silver dial does not suffer from any defects, and the dots of luminescent material present at the tip of the indexes are present and very round. The original hands, characteristic of the reference, have developed a beautiful warm patina.
The stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet is in near mint condition, with no stretch. The engravings on the buckle blades are precise. The Rolex crown stamped on the clasp is prominent and clean.
