The Must de Cartier collection was born in the 1970s. Designed to make Cartier's creations more accessible, as the famous house was reinventing itself following the unification of its 3 branches in New York, London and Paris, this line offers emblematic designs of the brand with a modern touch and more affordable materials.
The Cartier Tank Must model, launched in 1977, is one of the flagship pieces of this collection. It takes the timeless design of the famous Tank watch known as the "Louis", created in 1917, adding colorful variations and materials such as vermeil.
Over the years, the Tank Must was produced in multiple versions, incorporating mechanical and quartz movements and innovative features such as a sunlight-powered variant.
The Tank Must Grande Taille that we have on offer is part of this tradition, combining the classic elegance of Cartier with the extreme precision of a quartz movement.
Equipped with a superb dial combining two of Cartier's great stylistic symbols – the alternation of the 3 gold colors, yellow, pink and white, known as "Trinity", and the black Roman numerals painted on a white background –, in excellent aesthetic condition and recently cleaned and checked by a qualified watchmaker, accompanied by a new hand-sewn Amplitude° strap in black grained leather and a Cartier pin buckle in gilded metal, this Tank Must de Cartier in vermeil (20 micron yellow gold-plated silver) is an ideal watch to wear every day as well as for the most elegant occasions, for both a man and a woman.

This Cartier Tank Must known as "Grande Taille" (Large Size in French) is preserved in excellent aesthetic condition, featuring a perfect "White Trinity + Roman Art Déco" dial and a mineral glass replaced anew, without any cracks or scratches.
The fluted winding crown is set with a blue cabochon in perfect condition.
Micro-surface scratches may be present on the case.
The quartz movement has been cleaned, tested, works perfectly, and the battery that powers it has been replaced with a new one.
The Amplitude° hand-sewn black grained leather strap is new.
