Eska St. Moritz 10-136 – NOS Prototype in Onyx and Red Jasper

This Eska watch in “new old stock” condition is part of a set of models, the “St. Moritz” collection, that's shrouded in mystery.
In early 2024, a few watches from an old watchmaker's stock appeared in Switzerland. All were new, and had different dials: tiger's eye, mother-of-pearl, malachite, onyx, etc. Our research tends to indicate that these were in fact prototypes, developed by Eska in the early 1980s with gold-plated steel cases.
Among all the variants, we have chosen to keep this model, with a particularly attractive dial: two flat areas of onyx – a prestigious black stone used by major Swiss manufacturers for some of their most sought-after dials – surround a band of red stone, most certainly from the jasper family.
This Eska St. Moritz is equipped with a hand-wound mechanical movement, caliber ETA/Peseux 7001, with a power reserve of 45 hours.

New old stock condition: this watch has never been worn or polished. It even retains a large part of its purple protective varnish on the case back.
The hand-wound mechanical movement is in perfect condition and works very well.
