Designed to make Cartier's creations more accessible, as the famous house was reinventing itself following the unification of its 3 branches in New York, London and Paris, this line offers emblematic designs of the brand with a modern touch and more affordable materials.
The Cartier Tank Must model, launched in 1977, is one of the flagship pieces of this collection. It takes the timeless design of the famous Tank watch known as the "Louis", created in 1917, adding colorful variations and materials such as vermeil.
Over the years, the Tank Must was produced in multiple versions, incorporating mechanical and quartz movements and innovative features such as a sunlight-powered variant.
The Tank Must Grande Taille that we have on offer is part of this tradition, combining the classic elegance of Cartier with the extreme precision of a quartz movement.
Equipped with a superb and unusual dial we call the "Art Déco Grey & White Roman 3-6-9-12", in excellent aesthetic condition (with a never polished case!) and recently cleaned and checked by a qualified watchmaker, accompanied by a Cartier black crocodile leather strap and an original Cartier folding clasp in gilded metal, this Tank Must de Cartier in vermeil (solid silver plated with 20 microns of yellow gold) is an ideal watch to wear every day as well as for the most elegant occasions, for both men and women.

This Cartier Tank Must known as "Grande Taille" is preserved in excellent aesthetic condition, featuring a perfect "Art Déco Grey & White Roman 3-6-9-12" dial and a mineral glass replaced anew, without any cracks or scratches.
The gold-plated case is in perfect condition and has never been polished. The engravings on the back, including the watch's serial number, are remarkably deep and crisp.
The fluted winding crown is set with a blue cabochon, in perfect condition.
Micro-surface scratches may be present on the case.
The quartz movement has been cleaned, tested, works perfectly, and the battery that powers it has been replaced with a new one.
The black crocodile leather Cartier strap has been worn but remains in good condition, while the original gold-plated Cartier folding clasp is in excellent condition and opens and closes without difficulty.
