Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso “Classique Medium” Quartz in Steel, Ref. 250.8.08

This Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso known as the “Classique Medium” in steel, reference 250.8.08 produced around 2005, is the neo-vintage interpretation of the model created in 1931 for British polo players stationed in India.
The 23 x 38.5 mm rectangular steel case is based on the patented turning mechanism that made this watch famous – initially an elegant protection for the crystal, it has since become an aesthetic signature.
The silver dial is simple and legible with its black painted Arabic numerals, blue railway minute track and blued steel sword hands.
The quartz movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 608, has been serviced by one of our watchmakers and operates to the strictest tolerances.
We have chosen to present this Reverso “Classique Medium” on a matte black alligator pattern leather strap, completed with a Jaeger-LeCoultre steel folding clasp.
A very beautiful example of this “iconic” and timeless watch, equally suited to men’s and women’s wrists!

This Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, known as the “Classique Medium”, reference 250.8.08, is preserved in very good overall condition.
The rectangular steel case retains its original proportions and finishes, combining mirror/shiny polish for the majority of the watch, vertical satin/matt brushing on the case back, and sandblasting for the inside of the grooves on the brancards. The case hinges and turns smoothly.
The inscriptions on the case back – notably the reference and serial numbers – are legible, deep and clear.
The winding crown still features the original "JL" logo, in excellent condition.
The original silver dial is in very good condition. No inscriptions are missing, and the blue scale is impeccable. The blued steel sword hands are perfectly preserved.
The matte black alligator pattern leather strap is new, and completed with a Jaeger-LeCoultre steel folding clasp, in perfect condition.
