Launched in 1957, the 9P caliber was the thinnest mechanical hand-wound wristwatch movement ever manufactured. The case of the Piaget Protocole that we are presenting is only 4 mm thick!

In near new condition, probably never worn, this 18 carat yellow gold watch is immensely charming. The integrated bracelet, also made of yellow gold, is of a manufacturing quality today unrivaled, and fits the wrist perfectly. The case, bracelet and even the dial feature a rare and very elegant chiseled pattern.

The dial surround is made of onyx, a variety of agate, of a deep, shiny black. Free of any text, this dial offers a striking contrast with the gold and impeccable readability. The gold Dauphine hands perfectly complement this collector's piece, an embodiment of Piaget's sophistication and refined craftsmanship.

This Piaget Protocole in yellow gold has most certainly never been worn, as the absence of any deep impact and the sharpness of the details of the carvings on the case and bracelet tend to indicate (they are the first thing to fade when wearing much or polishing), and the depth of the engravings of the reference and serial numbers on the screwed case back.
